One 7oz skein of Red Heart Super Saver worsted-weight yarn each in the following colors: #0406 Medium Thyme (A), #0256 Carrot (B), #0368 Paddy Green (C), #0321 Gold (D), #0390 Hot Red (E)*

*You can also use #0319 Cherry Red if Hot Red is not available.

Size J/10 (6mm) crochet hook, or size needed for gauge

Tapestry needle, scissors

Instructions

Using Color A, ch 4, join with sl st to form ring.

Rnd 1:  Ch 2, 10 dc into ring, join with sl st.

Rnd 2:  Ch 2, 2 dc in each st around, join with sl st.  (20 sts)

Rnd 3:  Ch 2, *(1 dc in next st, 2 dc in next st), repeat from * around, join with sl st.  (30 sts)

Rnd 4:  Ch 2, *(1 dc in next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st), repeat from * around, join with sl st.  (40 sts)

Rnd 5:  Ch 2, *(1 dc in next 3 sts, 2 dc in next st), repeat from * around, join with sl st.  (50 sts)

Rnd 6:  Ch 2, *(1 dc in next 4 sts, 2 dc in next st), repeat from * around, join with sl st.  (60 sts)

Rnd 7:  Ch 2, *(1 dc in next 5 sts, 2 dc in next st), repeat from * around, join with sl st.  (70 sts)

Rnd 8:  Ch 2, *(1 dc in next 6 sts, 2 dc in next st), repeat from * around, join with sl st using color B.  (80 sts)

Rnd 9:  Ch 2, *(skip next st, 1 dc in next st, 1 dc in skipped st), repeat from * around, join with sl st using color C.

Rnds 10 & 11:  Repeat Rnd 9, join with color D.

Rnds 12 & 13:  Repeat Rnd 9, join with color E.

Rnds 14 & 15:  Repeat Rnd 9, join with color B.

Rnd 16:  Repeat Rnd 9, join with color A.

Rnd 17:  Ch 2, *(1 dc in next 6 sts, 1 dec dc in next 2 sts), repeat from * around, join with sl st.

Rnd 18:  Ch 2, *(1 dc in next 5 sts, 1 dec dc in next 2 sts), repeat from * around, join with sl st.

Rnd 19:  Ch 2, *(1 dc in next 4 sts, 1 dec dc in next 2 sts), repeat from * around, join with sl st.

Rnd 20:  Ch 2, *(1 dc in next 3 sts, 1 dec dc in next 2 sts), repeat from * around, join with sl st.

Rnd 21:  Ch 2, *(1 dc in next 2 sts, 1 dec dc in next 2 sts), repeat from * around, join with sl st.

Rnd 22:  Do not ch 1.  Instead, work a reverse sc edging in each st around, join with sl st.  Fasten off, weave in ends.
